Alex was polite, friendly & efficient when he came to service the boiler.
When we needed a new boiler, TM Hughes supplied and fitted it promptly and efficiently. The heating/hot water system was checked thoroughly after installation, including existing radiators, and the kitchen cleared and tidied afterwards. I have used this company for a number of years for boiler and hot water cylinder checks and maintenance, and can recommend them to others.

Time will tell whether our problem is sorted but Dylan also had some good ideas about next steps if it is not. Great service from TH Hughes - would highly recommend.

Replaced my Nest thermostat as Google stopped the app for the learning 3 and T M Hughes replaced it with the latest Hive Thermostat very pleased with the service and how quickly they installed it thanks

Second boiler service carried out by TM Hughes. One this October and one in October 2024. Both times the engineer has been professional, friendly and competent.
TM Hughes have always been reliable and helpful with various jobs in my home, including moving a boiler to the other side of the room. Would highly recommend.
It only took one phone call, no messing around the technician was at my house spot on time. Didn't take long to spot the broken part and placed an order and it's due sometime next week. Everything was placed back left no mess.Very pleased with the service.
Used Alex from TM Hughes to remedy a fault with my hot water cylinder. Two visits required were prompt, on time and the fault effectively rectified. I'll hopefully use Alex for future work and servicing on my hot water installation.

My boiler service was carried out at short notice as i was moving out - the engineer was on time, polite and completed the works quickly - also supplying my with email versions of the reports which are useful in the house selling process.
TM Hughes & Son were very responsive coming out quickly to assess our boiler when it stopped working and advised us on a replacement boiler as it would have been too expensive to repair. James came round within the week to replace the boiler. He was polite, answered all our questions, gave good advice and completed the job efficiently and well and we thankfully have heating again. Would recommend.

Can't speak highly enough of Terry & his staff. Terry gave a very competitive quote for the work needed & fully informed me of what was involved. He was more than happy to answer any questions i had regarding the job, which was very helpful. Alex installed my new boiler, i was impressed with his time keeping & he worked non stop all day long. He also cleaned up as he went along. The quality of his work is excellent i am very impressed, its great to have peace of mind that you have a plumbing company like this that you can call on if & when needed. I would definitely recommend them.

Absolutely first class service, although he was very busy he still found a bit of time to take a look and see why we had no heating or hot water. I thought that this level of customer service died out a long time ago but totally impressed by the "above and beyond" dedication that was shown to try and help us. Making an effort to fit us in at short notice and working on a Saturday to install a new one so that we weren’t long without hot water / heating. Terry is also very communicative and willing to help over the phone and unsociable hours! I would recommend.

Great service and nice guys! I had a complex underfloor heating issue. They came out and assessed it. A week later came with all the parts and fixed it. Gave some great advice on how to maintain the system and made some cost saving recommendations. Definitely would use them again.

Vented Water Heaters
Vented Water Heaters are economical and energy-efficient. They are an excellent choice for domestic and commercial situations where a boiler is absent. Installation is relatively simple. They are available in a range of sizes. For safety reasons, Vented Water Heaters are used with Vented Taps to supply hot water to a single sink.
Unvented Water Heaters
Unvented Water Heaters are fed directly from the mains water supply, so they don’t require a cold water cistern and match the mains pressure when serving hot water. They do, however, require an expansion tank to allow for increased pressure. Unvented Water Heaters can supply multiple taps and offer more flexibility than Vented Heaters when it comes to installation.
Instantaneous Water Heaters
Instantaneous Water Heaters are instant point of use heater that doesn’t require a cylinder. They are an excellent choice for situations where there’s a lack of space, and small amounts of hot water are needed. Instantaneous Water Heaters are powered by electricity and are very energy efficient as their design eliminates standby energy losses.
Point Of Use Water Heaters
Point Of Use Water Heaters heat water instantly at the sink area where they are installed, instead of from the mains or a distant hot water cylinder. This saves money as no excess hot water is heated or wasted. Point Of Use Water Heaters are straightforward to use and are ideal for commercial premises where hot water is only required to wash hands, mugs, plates etc.
Boiling Water Dispensers
Boiling Water Dispensers deliver instant hot water. The unit is connected to the mains water supply; the water is then heated through an element powered by electricity. An energy-efficient alternative to the traditional kettle that’s ideal for the office, commercial premises, cafe or restaurant. Smaller Boiling Water Dispensers are also available for the home.
