The engineer was very friendly and supportive . He listened to my plumbing problem and was able to quickly check the fault and found that it was due to a inflow water pipe from the hot water cylinder to the electric pump that had been left closed after the overhead water tank had been completely drained by a previous plumber (from another company) in order to carry out replacement of the electric heating filament of the hot water tank . The engineer opened the valve of the outflow pipe so that we could have hot water once again flowing to the electric pump in the attic and from there through to the shower after about 2 months of being in a limbo caused by the carelessness of the other company who refused to accept any responsibility to re-look at what may have happened and remedy this problem .
