I was having trouble finding a local duel fuel fitter to remove my old cooker and install a new gas one. After being let down twice by friends recommended fitters, I went online and found T M Hughes and thank goodness I did!
From the first enquiry I felt I was being listened to and that I was dealing with a very proffessional company. I was given a date and time for a fitter (Dylan) to attend who subsequently did a first class job. He was neat and tidy and put the old cooker outside for me ready for collection.
I cannot recomend this company enough. From start to finish I was kept informed along the way which is so important. Well done guys, your number is in my contact list as ill definitly call on you, if needed in the future. 🙂

The response to my initial enquiry was prompt and Dylan arrived within the timeslot indicated. This is a reliable, professional and trustworthy company that I would highly recommend.
A few years ago I needed a replacement boiler, TM Hughes sourced it, supplied and fitted it efficiently and tidily. My late husband was ill with dementia at the time, but the plumbing and heating engineer, Pawel, took everything in his stride and was kind, friendly and respectful with him.
After installation he checked each radiator carefully. He was polite and his work was clean and tidy. Since then I have continued to use TM Hughes and Pawel has done the annual boiler service each year. I wouldn't hesitate to contact Terry, the owner, if I had a plumbing or heating problem as I know that I can rely on Pawel to do what's best. He takes a genuine interest in his customers and won't advise you to do something that is unnecessary.

When our combi boiler recently failed (terminally) I gave Terry a ring and asked if they could fit a new boiler quickly. He had provided a quote for a replacement about 6 months ago and he agreed to honour the price. It was fitted within the week. Terry and Pawel did a superb job on the day. Was having a problem trying to bind my new boiler wireless thermostat with the receiver and telephoned Terry at 5pm to tell him of my problem. He told me that he would arrange for an engineer to call the following day and at 1pm they arrived and the problem was resolved within the hour. Great service once again. Thank you.

Top service. We were given an approx time when someone would turn up and they did as promised. TM Hughes, James the engineer came recommended a new boiler as the repairs require would be almost half the cost of new he was not pushy just a recommendation. We agree and he returned and replace the boiler within three days and return when i called as i was unsure about something, 3 visit within the space of a couple weeks he was very patient and so was mr Hughes when I called thank you both, and I couldn’t be happier.

First used tm hughes & son when my boiler packed up a week before xmas, with in 2 days new boiler had been installed, terry went out of his way to help at a busy time, and always use them for its annual service. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend TM Hughes. The water from my bath and sink was draining extremely slowly. We had tried liquid drain unblockers but these had failed. After a visit from Terry and one of his fantastic plumbers our water now gushes away at a rate we've never seen before. A huge thank you to both of them.

Terry the governor came round 1st to view the job (replacing the boiler and changing the system from a pressure system to a combi system) and I received the price of the work to be done the same night, and was very happy with his work ethics and the quote I received. The work was carried out within a week by one of his engineers called Alex, who knew his job and carried out the work to the highest of standards. I could not recommend this company highly enough.

Terry and his team (with a special mention for Pavell) did a great job of renovating our central heating system. They replaced two of our twelve radiators, a circulating pump and a valve. They then power flushed the whole system. In thirty plus years the system has never worked as well as it does now! They turned up on time, did the job in line with the estimate and provided great follow up to make sure we were happy. We will definitely be using them again.

Woke up the Monday after Christmas to a cold house. Phone call to Terry Hughes promised a response by Tuesday. In fact an engineer came out on the Monday and we decided that as the boiler was 14 years old that the best course of action was a new boiler. This was fitted on the Friday, the work was done with minimal interference and we were up and running by the afternoon. Cannot praise enough.

Over the past couple of years I've had very good service from TM Hughes. It was reassuring that they contacted me this year to arrange a service for my boiler, so that the warranty was kept up to date.
I found their engineer to be polite, considerate, knowledgeable and friendly.

Pawel came on time and was immediately busy servicing the boiler. We have had him 3 times now because he spotted a problem that had not been noticed by previous engineers for several years! TM Hughes are sometimes very busy but worth the wait in my opinion.

Had a problem with your boiler which was erratically supplying/not supplying hot water to the radiators. Terry very quickly diagnosed the problem and ordered a new valve which Kai fitted .

Great experience with this company. Booked a service as mine was overdue, and my boiler was constantly losing pressure.
Our boiler technician's name was Pawel, he came over and identified the issue immediately. I got my replacement parts ordered and installed within just a few business days. The boiler is working perfectly now.
On top of that, Pawel was very friendly, and funny. I enjoyed chatting with him while he worked.

When we needed a new boiler, TM Hughes supplied and fitted it promptly and efficiently. The heating/hot water system was checked thoroughly after installation, including existing radiators, and the kitchen cleared and tidied afterwards. I have used this company for a number of years for boiler and hot water cylinder checks and maintenance, and can recommend them to others.

Hi Terry. I just wanted to say that Dylan was brilliant last evening. He phoned ahead, arrived when he said he would, did the job very professionally and was charming. Just thought you should know. Time will tell whether our problem is sorted but Dylan also had some good ideas about next steps if it is not. Great service from TH Hughes - would highly recommend.

TM Hughes has serviced and worked on correcting my boiler installation (from a different and poor company) for 5 years. They have always been very professional and, importantly, turned up on time. The work is reasonably priced, and I have never had an issue with what they have done for me.

Cannot recommend this company enough. Alex was professional in all aspects. From installing the new boiler, water tank etc plus covers for carpets and then clearing everything away. TM Hughes & Son were very responsive coming out quickly to assess our boiler when it stopped working and advised us on a replacement boiler as it would have been too expensive to repair. James came round within the week to replace the boiler. He was polite, answered all our questions, gave good advice and completed the job efficiently and well and we thankfully have heating again. Can't speak highly enough of Terry & his staff. Terry gave a very competitive quote for the work needed & fully informed me of what was involved. He was more than happy to answer any questions i had regarding the job, which was very helpful. Alex installed my new boiler, i was impressed with his time keeping & he worked non stop all day long. He also cleaned up as he went along. The quality of his work is excellent i am very impressed, its great to have peace of mind that you have a plumbing company like this that you can call on if & when needed. Absolutely first class service, although he was very busy he still found a bit of time to take a look and see why we had no heating or hot water. I thought that this level of customer service died out a long time ago but totally impressed by the "above and beyond" dedication that was shown to try and help us. I cannot recommend them high enough, if there was a facility to give a 'perfect 10' then Terry would easily get it. As they say, Forget the rest, just call the best

Great service and nice guys! I had a complex underfloor heating issue. They came out and assessed it. A week later came with all the parts and fixed it. Gave some great advice on how to maintain the system and made some cost saving recommendations. Definitely would use them again.
