I was having trouble finding a local duel fuel fitter to remove my old cooker and install a new gas one. After being let down twice by friends recommended fitters, I went online and found T M Hughes and thank goodness I did!
From the first enquiry I felt I was being listened to and that I was dealing with a very proffessional company. I was given a date and time for a fitter (Dylan) to attend who subsequently did a first class job. He was neat and tidy and put the old cooker outside for me ready for collection.
I cannot recomend this company enough. From start to finish I was kept informed along the way which is so important. Well done guys, your number is in my contact list as ill definitly call on you, if needed in the future. 🙂

The response to my initial enquiry was prompt and Dylan arrived within the timeslot indicated. The problems with the boiler were quickly identified and the need for a replacement was evident, though I was not pressured into that solution. The new boiler was fitted quickly and with no mess left behind.

We can install and repair the following styles of Tap
- Pillar Taps – Traditional style single hot and cold taps
- Mixer Taps – Connected hot and cold taps that can be mixed
- Monoblocs – The hot and cold are mixed inside a single tap
- Commercial Taps – Lever, Push Button and Sensor Taps, found in commercial bathrooms
Tap Mechanisms
We can repair and replace the following tap mechanisms
- Ball Taps – Ball Taps contain a metal ball that controls the strength, flow and temperature of the water
- Cartridge Taps – Cartridge taps contain a mechanism that moves up and down and sides to side to control flow and temperature
- Disc Taps – Disc Taps contain a pair of ceramic discs which allow water to flow when the tap is turned on
- Washer – The original tap mechanism commonly found in traditional pillar taps, the washer is raised or lowered as the tap is turned, regulating the flow
