Alex was polite, friendly & efficient when he came to service the boiler.
When we needed a new boiler, TM Hughes supplied and fitted it promptly and efficiently. The heating/hot water system was checked thoroughly after installation, including existing radiators, and the kitchen cleared and tidied afterwards. I have used this company for a number of years for boiler and hot water cylinder checks and maintenance, and can recommend them to others.

Hi Terry. I just wanted to say that Dylan was brilliant last evening. He phoned ahead, arrived when he said he would, did the job very professionally and was charming. Just thought you should know. Time will tell whether our problem is sorted but Dylan also had some good ideas about next steps if it is not. Great service from TH Hughes - would highly recommend.

Replaced my Nest thermostat as Google stopped the app for the learning 3 and T M Hughes replaced it with the latest Hive Thermostat very pleased with the service and how quickly they installed it thanks
Cannot recommend this business enough were extremally helpful when doing my flat up several years ago. Also had a plumbing emergency and terry immediately helped out the second we called him. Extremely responsive and does incredible work would do 10 stars if the system allowed

Second boiler service carried out by TM Hughes. One this October and one in October 2024. Both times the engineer has been professional, friendly and competent.
TM Hughes have always been reliable and helpful with various jobs in my home, including moving a boiler to the other side of the room. Would highly recommend.
It only took one phone call, no messing around the technician was at my house spot on time. Didn't take long to spot the broken part and placed an order and it's due sometime next week. Everything was placed back left no mess.Very pleased with the service.
Used Alex from TM Hughes to remedy a fault with my hot water cylinder. Two visits required were prompt, on time and the fault effectively rectified. I'll hopefully use Alex for future work and servicing on my hot water installation.

My boiler service was carried out at short notice as i was moving out - the engineer was on time, polite and completed the works quickly - also supplying my with email versions of the reports which are useful in the house selling process.
TM Hughes & Son were very responsive coming out quickly to assess our boiler when it stopped working and advised us on a replacement boiler as it would have been too expensive to repair. James came round within the week to replace the boiler. He was polite, answered all our questions, gave good advice and completed the job efficiently and well and we thankfully have heating again. Would recommend.

Can't speak highly enough of Terry & his staff. Terry gave a very competitive quote for the work needed & fully informed me of what was involved. He was more than happy to answer any questions i had regarding the job, which was very helpful. Alex installed my new boiler, i was impressed with his time keeping & he worked non stop all day long. He also cleaned up as he went along. The quality of his work is excellent i am very impressed, its great to have peace of mind that you have a plumbing company like this that you can call on if & when needed. I would definitely recommend them.
Excellent service again, phoned when he was on his way, identified and rectified a problem he picked up on the inspection , always reliable, knowledgable and thorough plumber, I'll see them next year for the annual inspection.

Absolutely first class service, although he was very busy he still found a bit of time to take a look and see why we had no heating or hot water. I thought that this level of customer service died out a long time ago but totally impressed by the "above and beyond" dedication that was shown to try and help us. I cannot recommend them high enough, if there was a facility to give a 'perfect 10' then Terry would easily get it. As they say, Forget the rest, just call the best
Terry and Alex were amazing at helping us with our boiler. Making an effort to fit us in at short notice and working on a Saturday to install a new one so that we weren’t long without hot water / heating. Terry is also very communicative and willing to help over the phone and unsociable hours! I would recommend.

Great service and nice guys! I had a complex underfloor heating issue. They came out and assessed it. A week later came with all the parts and fixed it. Gave some great advice on how to maintain the system and made some cost saving recommendations. Definitely would use them again.

Our fully qualified plumbers can install any shower and work with any existing or new system, whether you have a combi boiler, a vented gravity-fed system or an unvented pressure system. Here are the types of showers we install, replace and repair.
Mixer Showers
Mixer Showers use water from the hot and cold water supply, mixed in the tap and distributed through the showerhead.
Mixer showers are a good option if you have an existing hot water cylinder a combi boiler, or want to run two showers. Mixer showers can use various shower heads, including fixed, adjustable heads (different spray options) or handset.
Electric Showers
The cold water mains supply feeds Electric Showers. The shower heats the cold water instantly. Hot water will never run out with an electric shower.
Electric Showers are easy to install and are very energy efficient as there’s no wasted hot water. They are also cheaper to buy and install than mixer showers.
Power Showers
Power showers use water from both the hot and cold supply. Water is mixed to the desired temperature and boosted by a pump to deliver at high pressure through the showerhead.
Eco Showers
Eco Showers are flow-regulated for water efficiency and use around 50% less water than regular mixer showers. Eco Showers are available in Electric and Mixer versions.
Digital Showers
Digital Showers are available in electric or mixer options. They are controlled by a separate digital control panel that regulates the flow and temperature of the power of the shower unit. Control panels are available as wired or wireless, which allows great flexibility in bathroom design.
Thermostatic
Thermostatic Showers are the safest of all showers and will always feed the correct hot and cold water ratio, even when a tap is turned on, or a toilet is flushed elsewhere.
