From contact to coming to our home, diagnosis and having hot water again was excellent.

Coming back in a couple of weeks to change a couple of components. I would not hesitate to recommend.

I use Terrance Hughes & Sons to help maintain a property and the team has always provided quick and high quality work. Terry and Pavel are always on hand to provide me with support, including recently installing a boiler and carrying out the necessary inspections.

They complete work to a high standard, respect my tennants and focus on getting the job done. This helps me immensely because i trust them to do the work to my requirements. I highly recommend them and look forward to using their services in future.

My Aqualisa shower had not been working properly for some time. TJ Hughes fitted a new controller and diverter, and the shower now works perfectly.
Not cheap but much less expensive than Aqualisa’s repair charge, and less still than a new shower.

Welcome to TM Hughes & Son. We install and repair Showers in Harlow and the surrounding areas.

Shower Installation Harlow

We install all types of Shower. The first step is to book a free, no-obligation survey and get a quote from one of our Plumbers, who will help determine the best Shower for your home, plumbing system, needs, and preferences.

Showers we install include:

Electric Showers

Electric Showers heat cold water as it passes through the unit. They don’t rely on hot water from your Boiler, so they’re a good choice if your hot water pressure is low.

Mixer Showers

Mixer Showers take water from your hot and cold feeds and blend them to your chosen temperature. They work well with Combi Boilers and unvented heating systems.

Thermostatic Showers

A thermostatic Shower is a safer version of a mixer shower. They keep the temperature consistent, even if someone uses a tap or flushes a toilet elsewhere in the house. Thermostatic Showers prevent scalding and are excellent for homes with children or elderly members.

Power Showers

Power Showers include a pump to increase water pressure. They can only be fitted in homes with gravity-fed heating systems.

Digital Showers

Digital Showers offer precise control using a panel or remote. You can adjust temperature and flow easily and even hide the main unit.

Smart Showers

Smart Showers feature app control, timers, and voice commands. You can set personal preferences for each family member and save water with their precision settings.

What’s Involved in Installation

Our Plumbers will safely remove your old Shower, check your water pressure and flow, and install the new unit. We’ll ensure everything is sealed and working properly once the unit is in place.

We always work cleanly and carefully. Once we’re done, we’ll tidy up and remove any rubbish before leaving.

Shower Repairs in Harlow

We also offer repairs if your Shower’s not working as it should. Whether there’s low pressure, fluctuating temperature, leaks, or no power, we’ll quickly find the problem and get it sorted.

Repairs are often more economical than fitting a new Shower unit, and our Plumbers have a high success rate when it comes to fixing the Shower. If a repair is impossible, we can give you a no-obligation quote for a full replacement.

We repair all Showers, including electric, mixer, thermostatic, power, digital, and smart Showers.
