Coming back in a couple of weeks to change a couple of components. I would not hesitate to recommend.
They complete work to a high standard, respect my tennants and focus on getting the job done. This helps me immensely because i trust them to do the work to my requirements. I highly recommend them and look forward to using their services in future.
Not cheap but much less expensive than Aqualisa’s repair charge, and less still than a new shower.
Annual Boiler Service. Punctual.polite,
and very reasonable price. I use this Company every year.
Welcome to TM Hughes & Son. We offer Shower installation and repair in Loughton and the surrounding areas.
Our experienced plumbers are fully insured, and they fit and repair all types of showers.
Shower Installation
We install an extensive range of showers, each suited to different needs:
Electric Showers
Electric showers work independently of your boiler, heating water on demand from the main water supply.
Thermostatic Showers
Thermostatic showers mix hot and cold water to maintain a steady temperature. They are incredibly safe and prevent scalding, so they are ideal for households with children or the elderly.
Power Showers
A Power Shower mixes hot and cold water with a built-in pump to boost pressure. Ideal for properties with low pressure, Power Showers deliver a satisfying, invigorating flow.
Mixer Showers
Mixer showers draw on your home’s hot and cold supplies, providing a balanced temperature. Mixers require good mains water pressure. They are simple to install and maintain.
Smart Showers
Smart showers offer app-based or remote control, enabling you to customise temperature flow and set personalised preferences. They also feature water usage tracking, helping you stay mindful of energy bills.
Digital Showers
Digital showers function similarly to smart systems but often use a sleek control panel rather than an app. They offer quick and precise temperature adjustments.
Which Shower Is Right for Your Home?
Selecting the perfect Shower depends on factors like hot water supply, pressure levels, heating system, and personal needs and preferences.
Electric showers often suit smaller homes that don’t have hot water storage cylinders, while power showers are best for households with gravity-fed heating systems.
Thermostatic showers provide families with a safe controlled temperature, and smart or digital Showers provide cutting-edge, easy-to-use pin-point temperature control.
Our Plumbers will help you choose the most practical and effective Shower for your home and lifestyle.
Shower Repairs
Over time, even the best showers can develop faults. Dripping showerheads, leaks, and temperature fluctuations are typical issues, often stemming from limescale build-up, worn seals, or broken cartridges.
If you have a noisy pump, no hot water or reduced pressure, your Shower’s internal components need attention.
Our Plumbers handle all shower-related issues. We use high-quality parts and proven repair methods to restore your Shower to full working order.
