- Drain and remove the old toilet (if replacing)
- Check and clean the waste pipe and the surrounding area
- Prepare the floor and wall for the new toilet (as needed)
- Position and secure the new toilet pan in place
- Fit the cistern (if separate) and connect it to the pan
- Connect the water supply and fill the valve
- Seal around the base (if required)
- Test the flush and check for leaks
- Tidy up the area and remove any waste or packaging
