The cylinder is fitted with a backup immersion heater, which can be switched on to heat the water, so you have a backup supply in case the Boiler malfunctions.
The only disadvantage of the system Boiler is that they need space to house the hot water cylinder, which isn’t usually an issue in medium to large homes.
Regular Boilers
Regular Boilers are fitted to traditional gravity-fed systems commonly found in Colchester’s older homes.
