Saniflo: What Is It?
The Saniflo system enables you to install fixtures such as toilets and sinks where direct connections to the main sewer line are impossible.
Toilets and other bathroom fixtures were traditionally installed near soil pipes for flushing and gravity-driven waste disposal.
However, this traditional system has limitations regarding the placement of Toilets, baths, showers, sinks, and basins.
Using a Saniflo system, a toilet, other bathroom fixtures, washing machines, dishwashers, and other appliances can all be installed anywhere in the home.
Saniflos grind the waste into fine particles through macerating. The waste is then pumped directly to the sewer through small diameter pipes. A Saniflo can pump waste 15 feet vertically or 150 feet horizontally.
As a result, Toilets or even full bathrooms can be added to any room, basement, or loft. Toilets can even be fitted in cupboards.
The Saniflo system is relatively quick and easy to install, allowing the installation of Plumbing fixtures anywhere in your home without costly upgrading to your existing plumbing and waste system.

Saniflo systems require little maintenance after installation and last up to 15 years. You only need to follow these simple steps.
Careful What You Flush
Paper towels or feminine hygiene products can damage the system, so don’t flush anything other than toilet paper and waste.
Avoid Bleach
It’s advised to avoid cleaning with bleach as it wears seals and is not friendly to the system.
Descale Periodically
Descale your Saniflo between three and four times a year to prevent limescale buildup.
