How Our Boiler Installation Services Work
You will know it’s time for a new Boiler if any of the following applies.
Your Boiler Is Over 10 Years Old
As Boilers age, they become less economical, burning more and more fuel to keep up with demand.
Some old Boilers have been found to waste up to 45% of the fuel burned, a significant cost considering the household Boiler is the primary energy consumer.
A new condensing Boiler will run at 90-99% efficiency.
Your Boiler Has Continous Issues
If you experience ongoing issues with your Boiler, such as leaking, low pressure or constant switching off, you should get it looked at by an engineer. A repair may be possible. If not, it’s time to start looking for a new Boiler.
Your Boiler Has Been Written Off
You may have called out an engineer to look at a Boiler issue and discovered it’s beyond repair. Maybe the parts are too significant, expensive, uneconomical to repair, or even no longer available.
Otherwise, your Boiler may have been condemned as a carbon monoxide risk.
You Have Extended Your Home
Many Witham residents extend their properties to create more living space and add value to their homes.
Unfortunately, your old Boiler may not have the capacity to adequately serve your original and new area with heating and hot water.
If you have a significant renovation, it may be time for a new Boiler.
You Need More Hot Water
Your hot water requirements may have increased since your last Boiler install. Your family got bigger, for instance. If your old Boiler cannot keep up with your hot water demand, it could be time for a replacement.
You Need More Storage Space
Many homes in Witham still have traditional central heating systems with bulky water tanks and hot water storage cylinders. By installing a modern combination Boiler, we can remove water tanks and cylinders, creating more storage space.
Book Your Free Survey
Once you have established that you need a new Boiler fitted, you next need to book your free Boiler survey with one of our experienced Boiler engineers.
One of our engineers will conduct the survey and go through all the available options with you so you can pick the best Boiler for your heating and hot water requirements.
Once the survey is completed, you’ll be written a free no-obligation quote.
The engineers who undertake the surveys install Boilers every day. They are not high-pressure sellers who use deceptive and coercive sales tactics.
You’ll find our engineers relaxed and friendly yet professional they will answer all your questions and concerns regarding new Boilers and installations.
We Install All Makes Of Boiler
We install all Boiler makes and are accredited installers for Worcester Bosch, Potterton, Glow-Worm, Baxi, Vaillant and Ideal.
We install other makes of Boiler such as Alpha, Ariston, Ferolli, Heat-Line, Keston, Saunier Duval, Viessman and Vokera.
All makes of Boiler offer budget, mid-range and premium Boilers. In addition, all the Boilers fitted are condensing Boilers with efficiency ratings of between 90-99%.
Warranties range from 5-12 years, depending on the make and model of Boiler you have installed.
We install Boilers powered by Gas, Electricity, Oil and LPG.
Types Of Boiler
All Boilers fitted will fit into one of three categories Regular, System or Combination, whatever the make or fuel type.
The type of Boiler fitted depends on your existing central heating system and your heating and hot water requirements.
If you have a brand new central heating system fitted, then the Boiler fitted will depend entirely on the size of your home and your heating and hot water requirements. When fitting a new central heating system, we can always fit the ideal Boiler for your home and situation.
If you’re having a straightforward replacement (the most common type of Boiler installation), the Boiler fitted will be the same type as your old Boiler and work with your existing central heating system.
Suppose you want to increase the Boilers capacity for increased hot water and radiators or want to create storage space. In that case, modifications will be made to your central heating system to accept a new type of Boiler.
The Boiler Types Include
Regular Boilers
Regular Boilers are often found in homes with older central heating systems.
Regular Boilers are suitable for larger houses with several hot taps and bathrooms as the system is always topped up and can supply a continuous source of hot water.
Regular Boilers require water tanks located in the loft or a top floor cupboard and a hot water storage cylinder.
Regular Boiler central heating systems are big and bulky. It’s often best to convert to a modern System or a Combination Boiler. Otherwise, we’ll replace it with a new Regular Boiler to work with your traditional central heating system.
System Boilers
System Boilers include a pressurised hot water cylinder that provides hot water for your hot taps and showers. The cylinder ensures that you and your family always have an ample hot water supply (as long as the settings are correct and your Boiler switches on at the right times).
Hot water cylinders are fitted with immersion heaters which can be switched on if you have a boiler breakdown, so you still have hot water while waiting for a repair.
System Boilers have an advantage over Regular Boilers is that no water tanks are required in loft or cupboard spaces.
System Boilers are usually fitted in medium to larger-sized homes, those with three or more bedrooms and two or more bathrooms.
Combination Boilers
Combination Boilers are the most commonly fitted type of Boilers in Witham and throughout the UK.
No hot water cylinders or water tanks are required. The Combi Boiler heats water instantly after a hot tap, shower or heating is switched on.
Combination Boilers are simple and swift to fit, making them the cheapest of all types of Boiler installation.
Combination Boilers are best fitted in small to medium-sized homes. They are cost-effective and offer exceptional energy efficiency as you only heat the water you use.
Boiler Sizes
All Boilers come in a range of sizes. During the survey, our engineer will determine the correct size boiler for your home and your heating and hot water requirements.
Fitting the right sized Boiler ensures it will cope with demand and keep up with your heating and hot water demands while not wasting energy.
