If your pilot keeps blowing out and stopping your Boiler, then we will inspect the thermocouple, which has probably failed.

The thermocouple is a safety device that regulates the gas flow. When it ages and starts malfunctioning, it can prevent the Boiler from working correctly.

A new thermocouple will get your boiler working again.

Boiling Kettle/Whistling Noise

If your Boiler is making a whistling noise like a boiling kettle, your heat exchanger is blocked with limescale.

Defrosting the pipe will get your Boiler working again. We’ll also insulate the pipe so this problem doesn’t happen again.

Radiators Don’t Heat

If your radiators don’t heat even when the Boiler’s running, you may have excess air in the system that needs bleeding.

Other causes are faulty radiator valves, which can be adjusted or changed, or your systems clogged with ‘sludge’, which will prevent your radiators from heating up.

In this case, Power Flushing is the remedy: a procedure that removes sludge from your system and restores it to full working order.
