• A blockage

An engineer will inspect your Boiler and run tests. Leaking seals can be renewed and tightened, while blockages can be located and removed. A faulty pump is unblocked, repaired or changed.

Pilot Light Keeps Going Out

If your pilot keeps blowing out and stopping your Boiler, then we will inspect the thermocouple, which has probably failed.

The thermocouple is a safety device that regulates the gas flow. When they age and start malfunctioning, they’ll prevent the Boiler from working correctly.

Boiling Kettle/Whistling Noise

Condensate Pipes remove all the wastewater created by your condensing Boiler. However, in freezing weather, these pipes can freeze and prevent your Boiler from running.

Defrosting the pipe will get your Boiler working again. We’ll also insulate the pipe, so this problem doesn’t occur again in the future.

Radiators Don’t Heat

If your radiators don’t heat even when the Boiler’s running, you may have excess air in the system that needs bleeding.

Other causes are faulty radiator valves, which can be adjusted or changed, or your systems clogged with ‘sludge’, which will prevent your radiators from heating up.

In this instance, Power Flushing is the remedy, a procedure that’ll remove the sludge in your system and restore it to complete working order.
