What Is A Saniflo System?
Saniflo systems allow you to install fixtures, such as toilets, sinks, and showers, in locations where it is impossible to directly connect them to the soil pipe that runs to the main sewer line.
Traditionally Toilets and other bathroom fixtures were fitted close to the soil pipe to quickly dispose of waste using a flush and gravity.
While this traditional system works well, it limits where Toilets, baths, showers, sinks and basins can be fitted.
A Saniflo system allows the fitting of Toilets, other bathroom fixtures and even washing machines and dishwashers to be fitted anywhere in the home.
Saniflos are a macerating system that grinds waste and pumps it through small diameter pipes directly to the sewer.
A useful solution if you want to add a Toilet or even a full bathroom to any room, a basement, loft and even cupboards.
Saniflo systems are relatively quick and easy to install and will save you money and hassle if you want a toilet, bathroom or appliance in an obscure location in your home.
Long Lasting With Little Maintenance
Once installed, Saniflo systems will last up to 15 years and require little maintenance.
Look after properly by flushing only waste and toilet paper. Avoid flushing inappropriate items down the toilet, such as paper towels or feminine hygiene products, as this can cause clogs and potentially damage the system. Cleaning with bleach should also be avoided.
As Billericay is a hard water area, it is recommended to descale the Saniflo between 3-4 times a year to stay on top of limescale.
