The Installation Procedure

A Gas Cooker Installation is swift and tidy. Here’s a typical fitting procedure undertaken by our engineers:

Turn off the gas supply at the mains.
Ensure the room is well-ventilated.
Double-check that the cooker is suitable for the type of gas in your home (e.g., natural gas or LPG).
Decide where the cooker will be placed. It should be near a gas supply point and an electrical socket if the cooker requires electricity for ignition or other features.
Ensure there’s enough clearance space around the cooker.
Attach the gas hose to the cooker.
Connect the other end of the hose to the gas supply using the correct fittings.
If the cooker requires electricity, plug it into an electrical socket.
Turn the gas supply back on.
