My Aqualisa shower had not been working properly for some time. TJ Hughes fitted a new controller and diverter, and the shower now works perfectly.
Not cheap but much less expensive than Aqualisa’s repair charge, and less still than a new shower.

The Gas Fire Service Procedure

A Gas Safe Registered engineer arrives at your property on your booked time and date
Dust sheets are laid in the work area around the fire to protect your flooring and furniture
The gas supply is shut off so our engineer can work safely
The fire assembly is removed
The engineer cleans all the fire’s internal components, including the burner unit, catalyst, pipes, and fire assembly.
The Gas Fire is reassembled
The gas supply is reinstated
The fire is switched on
The engineer checks the gas burn rate and adjusts it if necessary
The flue or chimney is tested to ensure exhaust gasses are being expelled correctly
The fire’s safety devices are teste
The fires tested for leaking gas
A service record is written and given to you
The engineer tidies up at departs
