What Is a Saniflo System?

A Saniflo system is a macerator pump that allows waste to be transported through pipes, even when gravity drainage isn’t an option. The unit grinds solid waste and pumps it through pipes (over long distances if necessary) into the sewer, making it easier to install toilets, showers, etc, in areas with limited space or difficult plumbing conditions.

With a Saniflo, you can add a toilet, sink, or shower in places where traditional plumbing would require significant work, disruption and expense.

The Installation Process

The installation is usually straightforward, connecting the Saniflo unit to the plumbing and electrical systems. The unit is positioned discreetly, usually hidden under the sink or shower or behind the toilet. Pipes are routed to ensure they are hidden, and waste is efficiently transported to the sewer.

The system is tested once the installation is complete to ensure it works correctly without any issues. Our Plumbers will ensure that the Saniflo unit runs effectively and complies with all necessary regulations.
